How does GroceryChop get its prices?
We collect real-time pricing data directly from retailer APIs and websites. When you search for a product, we query nearby stores in parallel and match products by UPC barcode for accuracy. Most prices are less than 24 hours old.

Is GroceryChop free to use?

How does the Shopping List Optimizer work?
Add products to your list from any page, then the optimizer compares the total cost across all nearby stores. It recommends the cheapest single store, and the split-trip mode suggests visiting multiple stores to minimize your total spend.

How do I find stores near me?
Enter your ZIP code on the Stores page or any search page. You can also use your browser's location to automatically find nearby stores. GroceryChop will show all available stores in your area with product and deal counts.
